BURNING Permits & Reporting

Except when there is complete 3 inches of snow cover of the site, all persons are required to get a burning permit from the DNR / Local Fire Marshal

for fires larger than 3'x3'x3'.

When you are going to burn, you MUST report

Your Name, Location, Date & Time to

Hubbard County Non-Emergency Dispatch 218-732-3331

Avoid a possible fire service call charge of $1,500.00 if a fire department responds to a reported fire.  It is a good practice to always make your neighbors and HC Sheriff Dispatch aware of your burning plans
